What Original Medicare includes
Original Medicare consists of Part A for eligible hospital-related coverage and Part B for eligible medical services. It does not automatically include every healthcare cost.
Where Medicare Advantage fits
Medicare Advantage plans are offered by private insurers approved by Medicare and provide Part A and Part B coverage. Plan networks, costs, drug coverage, and additional benefits vary.
What Medicare Supplement does
Medicare Supplement policies work with Original Medicare and may help pay certain remaining costs. They are different from Medicare Advantage plans.
Why Part D matters
Part D helps cover eligible prescription drugs. Each plan has its own formulary, pharmacy network, premiums, and cost-sharing structure.
